I live in Hellin, a city in the southeaster of Spain it has a population of 32.000 people and is localited between the cities of Albacete and Murcia, is the second most important city in the province of Albacete.
Hellin is known as the city of the drum, and the city of sweets; it has narrow streets and sleep stopes in the old town, where the Arab and Jewish neighborthood are as well as the castle, which is in ruins, there are seven churches, two museums and an archeological park, cove paintings and a volcano near.
It is famous for the Easter, which is declared of international tourist interest, there are 29 brotherhoods and processions have about 32 floats. I´m in one of them on Thursday and Friday night. The drum playing is the most massive of Spain, is played individually or in groups, 20.000 people drumming on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday night and Saturday night.
Hellin people are quiet and friendly and that is one reason why I like living here.
